We are excited to announce that on Wednesday, July 25 we are partnering with Quesnay and QBE Insurance for a special insurance meetup to talk about millennials and insurance. The three-hour breakfast event will feature Q&As with award-winning journalists, the presentations of our findings from a survey 300 millennials as well as insights from C-Suite executives in insurance.

The event will be held on Wednesday, July 25th from 8:30-11:30am at Rise New York. Tickets are going fast. Those purchased before Friday, July 20th can be bought for $100. After this Friday, the ticket price will go up to $125.

9:00-9:15 am: “What We Can Learn By Listening to Young People” with Zach Goldbaum

Zach Goldbaum

Zach Goldbaum is an award-winning journalist and documentary filmmaker who was the host of Noisey on Viceland and a producer on Comedy Central’s The Opposition w/ Jordan Klepper.

As the host of Noisey, a documentary series that explores cities through the lens of music, he’s interviewed artists like Kendrick Lamar in Compton, Rick Ross in Miami, and Kesha in Nashville; and he’s reported on topics like gentrification in the Bay Area, gang violence in Compton, Islamophobia in Paris, and extrajudicial police murders in Sao Paulo. Additionally, Zach has been a correspondent and producer on a number of online documentaries for Vice, which have collectively garnered nearly 10 million views.

Additionally, he’s written about the rise of country rap for Vice Magazine, and his report on Detroit’s violent relationship with Cartier sunglasses was recently a cover story for the Detroit Metro Times. Zach was also a director and performer at the Upright Citizens Brigade theater, and his short films, pilots and scripts have been featured in the YoFi Film Festival, LA Comedy Festival, and the New York Television Festival.

Malcolm Harris is the author of Kids These Days: Human Capital and the Making of Millennials. His work has appeared in the New RepublicBookforum, the Village Voicen+1, and the New York Times Magazine. He lives in Philadelphia.

Nabil Rahman

Nabil Rahman is the Head of Product Strategy at Cake & Arrow, a Customer Experience design agency that partners with insurance companies. At Cake & Arrow, Nabil heads up a team of product managers, business analysts, and UX researchers and designers who are leading global digital initiatives for MetLife, ProSight, among others, for launches that span life, group benefits, P&C, and specialty.

Nabil brings a 10 year track record of developing and optimizing digital products for startups and Fortune 500 clients including Comcast, Metlife, Thomson Reuters, Farmers Insurance, Barnes & Noble, NRG Energy, and Wolters Kluwer. While deployed across disparate industries as a subject matter expert and change agent, Nabil has guided organizations in implementing lean approaches to their product development lifecycle. He holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of Pittsburgh.
