Cake & Arrow is thrilled to announce that we are the recipients of two 2017 Interactive Media Awards. The Interactive Media Awards recognize the highest standards of excellence in website design and development and honor individuals and organizations for their outstanding achievement. We are proud to be the recipients of two Best in Class Awards, the highest honor bestowed by the Interactive Media Awards.

Two Best in Class Awards

Cake & Arrow was honored with a Best in Class Award in the category of Web Design and Development as well as Marketing for the design of our own website, which we redesigned and launched in 2016. In order to win this award level, our site had to successfully pass through IMA’s comprehensive judging process, “achieving very high marks in each judging criteria – an achievement only a fraction of sites in the IMA program earn each year.” Not only did the Cake & Arrow website successfully meet this criteria, but ours was the first award issued in 2017 to receive a perfect score of 500 out of 500, and one of only 22 websites to receive a perfect score in IMA’s 12 year history.

“It’s always rewarding for our work to be recognized, but to be honored for the design of our own website is quite special. We rebranded from Alexander Interactive to Cake & Arrow this past year and the website naturally represents the culmination of those efforts. The recognition signals that the site is doing what we want by telling a cohesive story, clearly communicating our new positioning, the value we provide and what it’s like to work with us. Designing your own brand or site is incredibly challenging, so I’m super proud of our team in how they came together, overcame the challenges and brought this vision to life. It’s nice to know we can apply our own process to ourselves,” said Cake & Arrow’s Chief Creative Officer, Josh Levine.

Cake & Arrow also received a Best in Class Award in the category of insurance for our work with ProSight Specialty Insurance. We worked with ProSight to develop a direct-to-customer digital experience that complemented existing education efforts, designing and developing an angular front-end application for ProSight customers in ,edia, social services, and transportation niches.

This award acknowledges our unique value designing experiences within the insurance industry. As power continues to shift to the consumer, we help clients build platforms around customer pain points—platforms that also feed data back on customer needs, behaviors and outcomes. Customer experience is a great differentiator, even more greatly enhanced through data-driven refinement. We are thrilled to have our work in the industry honored.
