As a researcher and strategist with Cake & Arrow, Erin focuses on what she loves most: asking questions that get to the root of a challenge and then connecting the dots between strategic vision and tactical action.

Erin is an award-winning strategist, UX designer and researcher, with nearly 20 years’ experience in brand strategy and design for websites, products, and digital experiences. She is also an avid entrepreneur, co-founding a global design practice in 2010 in Istanbul, Turkey; becoming a founding member of a global creative collective in 2023; and launching an ecommerce area rug business in 2014. She holds a Master of Design from Carnegie Mellon University and has taught design courses at Northeastern University and Istanbul Technical University.

Outside of work, Erin lives in Pasadena, California, with her husband, daughter, and absurdly gorgeous cat, Sophie. She enjoys amateur flower arranging, walks among the neighborhood’s feral peacocks, and travel. The biggest change during her decade in LA? She ditched her all-black wardrobe and heels and now lives in sneakers and bright colors.
